About Prosper CO

Prosper CO is a non-partisan research and communications initiative, managed by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber’s Leadership Foundation and the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation, that is working to ensure that all Coloradans can find a path to success.

In partnership with The Brookings Institution and CU Denver, our primary goal is to first identify and understand what causes disparity. Armed with information and insights, we will pinpoint strategies to ensure all Coloradans benefit from our economic prosperity. We will then work to make those strategies a reality.

Think legislation. Programming. Infrastructure improvements. Workforce development partnerships. These are the kinds of large, systemic changes we seek. The kinds of solutions that will transform Colorado.

We believe strongly in the American Dream. And Prosper CO is a pledge to every Coloradan that they will have the opportunity to access that dream.

To us, a strong and healthy economy means that we all have good jobs, the financial means to support ourselves and our families, and lives that are filled with possibility and choice.

WE WANT...

a sustainable economy.

all our kids to have opportunities.

all sectors to thrive.

all of Colorado to prosper.

About the Chamber Family

The Chamber family is one organization divided into four specialized teams. Each group plays a distinct but critical role for the Metro Denver business community. From policy representation and engagement, to economic growth, to leadership development, to small business support, these roles work together to create a simple but powerful organizational purpose: to make business, our community and Colorado overall more successful.\

Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce was established more than 152 years ago by a group of bold and committed business leaders connecting Colorado to the Transcontinental Railroad. From day one, our focus has been on putting more Coloradans in great careers, which involves everything from building networks and providing business education, to developing leaders and reinforcing a business-friendly policy environment.

Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation is building a stronger community through skilled and inspired leadership. We elevate the visibility and influence of socially responsibly companies in our region.\

Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation is the nation’s first regional economic development authority and represents the nine counties, 66 communities, and robust mix of industries and companies that support our regional economy.

Denver Metro Small Business Development Center has a longstanding tradition of partnering with area entrepreneurs to knock down barriers together. Through our core services – free one-on-one consulting, training, and programs – we strive to provide Colorado’s small business owners who are just getting started with the resources they need to reach their full potential.
